Daily Tibetan Astrology: November 1, 2009

Chinese 14th, M-T-K 14th. Rabbit, Gin, Black 2.  Welcome to November. If you are in the U.S., remember that your clock should be set back one hour at 0200 today. So, set your alarm to wake up at 2:00 a.m., set the clock back one hour, and get an extra hour's sleep. Wait a minute! That's crazy. Just sleep straight through, then set the clock back an hour and make believe you got up an hour earlier! That's much more fun. Today is the anniversary of Khyungpo Naljor, and also of the first Sakya Trizin. A good day for offerings and quiet practice. Recover from Hallowe'en, and prepare yourself for a busy week ahead -- particularly if you are in Bhutan.

By the way -- I again want to emphasize that the earth element bears close attention.
