Daily Tibetan Astrology: October 19, 2009

Chinese 2nd, M-T-K 1st. Rabbit, Khon, White 8. So, we have here the 2nd day of the 8th Kalachakra month, and the 1st day of the 9th Tibetan month. It is an Earth Dog month. Lha Bab Duchen is this month, on the (solar) 9th of November, so practice is emphasized all month long. The best naga offering days are (lunar) 12th, 17th, 27th, and 29th. Please avoid the (lunar) 6th, 10th, 13th, 16th, 20th, 22nd, and the 24th through the 26th. You will want to be particularly kind to trees this month, particularly as we are entering flu season. Today is a good day to hang prayer flags, particularly as Lha Bab Duchen is baden this month. Today is also good for sang.
