More from Marcus

Here is a useful quotation:

"Begin each day by telling yourself: 'Today I shall be meeting with interference, ingratitude, insolence, disloyalty, ill-will and selfishness. All of them due to the offenders' ignorance of what is good and evil.' "
-- Marcus Aurelius, 165 A.D.

Not bad, eh? He also said something else which I always strive to remember, sometimes more successfully than others, but it is a worthwhile thing to keep for those times when one is drifting toward the cynical.
"Reject your sense of injury, and the injury itself disappears. The best revenge is to be unlike him who performed the injury."
There is something in that for all of us, wouldn't you agree?
