Daily Tibetan Astrology: September 28, 2009

Chinese 10th, M-T-K 10th. Snake, Khen, Green 4. Today is Guru Rinpoche Day. However, please note that today is also nyi nak, so it a good day to stick close to home. Some people take that to mean "hide under the bed," but I don't think that is necessary. When in doubt, practice cures all ills.

Today is also Yom Kippur.

Today is a great day to get out the red food coloring, barley flour, honey, and butter, and make a nice torma for the puja at 6:00 o'clock in the evening.

Shame on you for depicting Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, a pure teacher, as the devil. Not funny. Not clever. In addition to sullying the image of a wonderful, blameless person, and by association all his followers, you have brought disgrace to a blog that used to be a great source of information and inspiration. I hope you will never sink any lower than you have today, and, despite your vitriole, I hope Buddhists all over the world will rise above this hate.
