The blog Worst Horse is running an item subtitled "The Dharma of Twin Peaks." If you live in America, perhaps you recall that Twin Peaks is director David Lynch's noir take on the San Bernardinos (not to be confused with Inland Empire, which is his noir take on San Bernardino).
