I do not know how long this link -- from Kyegu Monastery -- will remain operational, but view these photos while you still can. This is, so far, the best visual record we have of what is really happening in Tibet right now.

An "excellent" (if I may use that word) collection of photos. I was especially struck by the photos of naked bodies being prepared for cremation. If the bodies are left unwrapped, this must mean that the people in that town are running out of blankets. I drew a little solace from the picture showing the equestrian statue of Gesar of Ling still standing amid the rubble.
