His Eminence Tulku Rinpoche

His Eminence's profound, silent commentary on the nature of karma. Ah, there but for fortune, you think? There but for "fortune," or something much, much finer.

It will be interesting to see how many comments this generates. About a month ago I was watching a documentary on the monks of Sera Je chanting from the Bardo Thodol about not being afraid, you are just experiencing your karma. Since then, I have been emotionally wrenched with karmic experience, to the extent that I have pondered suicide. Am I finally letting go?

Any suicidal ideation is, conventionally speaking, grounds for a discussion with a licensed mental health professional.

But such an ideation is merely a mental projection.....

Human Life is a precious, precious opportunity in karmic terms, projection or not. May you be well, may you have peace of mind, may you be happy.

I have just returned from a brief retreat to mountain solitude to regain equanimity. Than you for your kind wishes.
