A personal friend and Vajra Brother, Chuck Belyea, known to a legion of followers as Ming Liu, died of cancer last night at Berkeley, California. Known as a master practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine, divination, and astrology, upon his death let it be recorded he was also one of the world's finest magicians.

Sorry to hear about your friend.
It must be hard to be a white man with an online degree feigning expertise in "Asian" culture for 25 years.
can you explain what you mean by 'one of the world's finest magicians.'?
thanks
interesting that you used the word feigning. You didn't know him like I did or you would not make a slighting, naive comment like that. BTW you also would understand the word magician properly too. I pity you.
Am a 78th generation of a prestigious Chinese family and Charles Belyea taught me a thing or two on being Taoist magician. Have a happy afterlife and thanks for changing my life.

From my experiences, Charles Belyea, as I knew him in 1993, was a true Daoist master. He greatly helped me during a low period in my life in Singapore. He "feng-suid" my apartment in ways that significantly improved my fortunes and I will be forever grateful to him. I find it saddening that some other contributors on this thread feel inclined to sneer at him. But I doubt such pettiness would ever trouble someone of this man's stature and largeness of spirit. I wish him all the best in the afterlife. I'm sure he's found convivial companions and is having many interesting experiences and adventures. All the best Charles. Rodney King
