Today is the tenth day of the sixth Tibetan month: Padmasambhava's Birthday according to the Lama Gongdu terma. I guess it would not be out of place to offer birthday cake for this evening's six o'clock puja.

Guru Rinpoche brings me a very pleasant joy. His activities are my inspiration. His words are my heart's delight. His presence fills all of space with bliss and pure wisdom light!
May Guru Rinpoche's influence never wane or tire for many aeons to come! May the Compassionate Guru shower down lotus blossoms of blessings and attainments for all sentient beings!

Today we had rainstorms in Phoenix. A very lovely, soft 'female' rain continues to sprinkle gently. At sunset, the NORTHWEST was blazing with gorgeous red-orange light from the setting sun that broke through the clouds. Immediately, I thought of the warm, passionate kindness of Guru Rinpoche and how blessed we all are. :)
