Daily Tibetan Astrology: August 5, 2009

Chinese 15th, M-T-K 15th. Dog, Kham, Blue 3. What have we? Today is a full moon, today is sojong, today is a zin phung day, and today is Gampopa's anniversary. Tomorrow we have a lunar eclipse. Busy, or what? Don't cut or wash your hair today. Don't work with wood. Astrologically speaking, this is not a bad day to do practices intended to alleviate the pneumonic plague in East Tibet, mentioned elsewhere. This is also one of the best days this month to make naga offerings -- possibly the best day.
