Kyabje Tarthang Rinpoche's Bells

Kyabje Tarthang Tulku

Kyabje Tarthang Rinpoche's Light of Buddha Dharma Foundation World Peace Bells Project is not particularly well known outside of Asia. I therefore encourage you, in the strongest possible terms, to download the brochure explaining this project, and thereby become familiar with yet another facet of Tarthang Rinpoche's inconceivable activity to benefit beings.

The large Peace Bells are cast in Germany, whereas some (traditional, small) others are cast at Tarthang Rinpoche's foundry in Odiyan (Sonoma County, California).  Between 2004 and 2005, Odiyan is believed to have had the highest rate of bronze production in the United States, and some think the entire world. Tarthang Rinpoche's just-completed Cintamani Temple, at 120 feet, is wholly of bronze.

What is it that any of us could do that would equal even a fraction of what Tarthang Rinpoche has accomplished? Whatever it is, we had better do it and do it quickly, to begin repaying the kindness and confidence that he has bestowed upon the world --- and not only him, but so many others -- who believed that this generation held the key to the future.
