The Robert Ho Family Foundation is quite well known and respected among Hong Kong people, and is one of the most active supporters of Buddhism in the region. In the United States, they are no less active: witness the Ho Center for Buddhist Studies at Stanford University.
Just this past month, they sponsored a visit by the Drikung Kagyu nuns to London, for an exhibition of sacred dance. This was done as part of a larger program they have developed: "The Many Faces of Buddhism," which is designed to expose people to diverse facets of Buddhism, particularly as they impact the arts.
Take a few moments to familiarize yourself with what an enlightened philanthropic organization is able to accomplish, working through the academic sector, and established arts organizations.
