Like all comment about cults stating truths and what people have experienced have a way of disapperaing from the internet.

Denmark in particular:
It is not just Lama Ole Nydahl that really is a problem in Denmark, regarding Tibetan Buddhism. We have more than one Tibetan Buddhist center in Denmark that is a problem. But since Ole is a westener it is easier to accuse him of abuse and misconduct than any of the Lamas and Rinpoches in Gomde. Gomde Jylland is also involved with Tigers Nest Denmark ( a definate cult outside Tibetan Buddhism ) and Vækstcenteret ( also a cult in Denmark posing as a benign holistisc New Age self development center, for pseudo intellectuals )Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31865608.post-37408654230674712892015-03-25T13:28:17.615+08:002015-03-25T13:28:17.615+08:00Oh, and fellow who was killed while on retreat wit...Oh, and fellow who was killed while on retreat with Christie McNally wasn't ''killed.''Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31865608.post-10726944887881735572013-07-30T12:38:27.527+08:002013-07-30T12:38:27.527+08:00And apparently Peter Young can control the weather...And apparently Peter Young can control the weather. I'm pretty sure that notable Buddhists such as Robert Thurman or H.H. The Dalai Lama himself would vouch for that. Considering you have expended an enormous amount of energy and good heart in delineating what accords well with Dharma practice, and what doesn't… the article begs the question of whether anything of a Marxist perspective should be allowed for a Dharma practitioner.

Providing much food for thought (Trungpa and root teacher Khenpo Gangshar even make an appearance), it includes many provocative challenges to "cultural assumptions," Buddhist and otherwise… and not least, in the words of His Holiness. Interested in your thoughts, Tenpa. Coming from the southwest, I've always been wary of those so-called 'spiritual gurus' that would eventually find their way out to Santa Fe or Sedona to find wealthy followers, I mean 'students'. My side of this picture is seeing all these caucasians trying to sell/rebrand watered down Native beliefs as their own or claim some kind of lineage "passed down many moons ago" or some hokey crap like that.

It seems that a cult is cult, no matter what you package it in.Drums of Dharmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14501359262611627824noreply@blogger.com
